DANVILLE, Calif. — Karrie Webb held off Annika Sorenstam by a stroke in the Longs Drugs Challenge for her LPGA Tour-high fourth victory of the year.

Ahead by five strokes after a third-round 66, Webb parred the final five holes in the final round for a 2-under 70 and one-stroke victory over Sorenstam, who made things interesting with a 65.

KENNER, La. — The brother of Indianapolis Colts receiver Reggie Wayne was killed Sunday when the delivery truck he was driving crashed into a highway guardrail.Rashad Wayne was pronounced dead at the scene, said James Gallagher, a spokesman for the Kenner Police Department.

Allmendinger passed Sebastien Bourdais with seven laps to go, then held onto the lead after an extended red-flag delay to win the Champ Car Grand Prix of Road America on Sunday.Allmendinger prevented Bourdais from clinching his third straight Champ Car series title.
