Slippery Rock University senior Heather Kozuchowski was named PSAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Kozuchowski earned her NCAA provisional qualification with a throw of 44 feet, 1¼ inches in the shot put. She ranks second in the PSAC with that toss and became the third female from the conference to qualify provisionally for the national championships.

The FCA All-Star Cheerleaders took home six first-place finishes at the ACDC Steel Town Open at Robert Morris University recently.Turquoise won first place and were Level 3 divisional champions. Tanzanites won first place and were junior divisional champions. Rubies won first place and were Level 4 divisional champions.Pink Ice, Emeralds and Diamonds also won first-place honors while Sapphires finished in second place.
