Butler County Farm Bureau wins award
The Butler County Farm Bureau won the prestigious “Premier County Award” at Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s recent 74th annual meeting in Hershey.
The award is the highest honor bestowed upon a county farm bureau among Pennsylvania’s 54 county farm bureaus.
The county farm bureau also won the “Overall Achievement Award” for county farm bureaus with 401 or more members. The award recognizes a county farm bureau for its outstanding performance in the six program areas evaluated by Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
Hundreds of farmers from across the state attended the annual meeting at the Hershey Lodge from Nov. 17 to 19.
