COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - Pittsburgh Penguins captain and owner Mario Lemieux is now one of the owners of the River City Lancers, a minor league hockey team.

The Junior A hockey team announced Tuesday that the sale to a five-man ownership group that includes Lemieux and Los Angeles Kings forward Luc Robitaille was final.

No details of the sale were released. The ownership group is headed by Minneapolis businessman John Donovan.

Lemieux is also part of the ownership group for the Altoona (Pa.) Curve minor league baseball team.
