Grace Pauline Miller
Grace Pauline Miller, 84, of Chicora died at 3 a.m. Sunday at the Autumn Grove Care Center, Harrisville.
Born in Burkburnet, Texas, she was the daughter of Paul L. Wright and Vera L. Simpson Wright, who are deceased.
Grace graduated from Karns City High School in 1934 and from the Bible Baptist Seminary in 1970.
She worked in the preparation department at Castle Rubber in East Butler for 21 years before moving to Ft. Worth, Texas. There, she was a dietary manager at the Jackson Square Nursing Center for 11 years before she retired on Dec. 8, 1989.
Grace was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church of Butler and of the Dietary Managers Association, headquartered in Chicago.
She married Clark R. Miller on Dec. 29, 1954. He preceded her in death, as did her stepfather, Fred Aldinger, who raised her, and a brother, Bill Wright.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Shirley Widmer and her husband, Gary, of Jackson, Mich.; two stepsons, James A. Miller of Gladwin, Mich., and Reyland E. "Pee Wee" Miller of Butler; two nieces, Ginny Tucker of Michigan and Donna Campbell and her husband, Wayne, of Chicora; and one nephew, Paul Wright of Greenville, S.C.
<B>Miller </B>— Friends of Grace Pauline Miller, who died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at New Testament Baptist Church, 437 N. Duffy Road, Butler. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Steve Fisher, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Mt.
