Harmony will be the destination for Christmas shoppers two Wednesdays this month.

This is the third year the Harmony Business Association is hosting Harmony Shopping Strolls, an event created to highlight the community’s businesses and raise money to fight food insecurity.

Harmony Shopping Strolls take this Wednesday and Dec. 11, and every donation made at the Opera Hall gives shoppers a raffle ticket for prizes from the shops. Donations will go to the Southwest Butler Food Cupboard and Samaritan’s Purse’s hurricane relief efforts.

The shopping evenings will be accompanied by live music by the Butler County Symphony Orchestra and a live Nativity scene, and Christmas carolers will sing at Weavers’ Cabin on Dec. 11.

Strolls take place from 4 to 8 p.m., and many businesses populating the streets of Harmony are involved in the event.
