Bishop

Connie M. Bishop, 97, formerly of North Washington, passed away Saturday at the Chicora Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 8, 1914, in Bradys Bend, a daughter of Rocco and Mary DiFamio DiPento, who are deceased.

Connie was a member of the St. Alphonsus Parish, having attended St. Louis Catholic Church in West Sunbury. She was a member of St. Patrick's Altar Guild and the North Washington Fire Department Auxiliary. She was employed at Campbell's Dairy Queen for 20 years.

Connie is survived by her daughter Donna Wall and Donna's husband, Paul, of San Francisco; her son, Daniel Bishop and his wife, Beverly, of North Washington; four grandchildren, Danielle Book, Lindsey Doolin, Michelle Wuest and Gregory Lynn; and three great-grandsons.

She also is survived by one brother, Veto DiPento, of Bradys Bend.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Bishop, who passed away Sept. 18, 1981; two sisters; and four brothers.

YOUNG FUNERAL HOME</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in North Washington.Memorial gifts may be made to the VNA Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
