Butler man sentenced to prison for not verifying address under Megan’s Law
A Butler man was sentenced to serve 18 to 36 months in prison for failing to verify his address, which is required to under a lifetime reporting requirement under Megan’s Law.
Mose A. Lane, 63, was sentenced Thursday, Dec. 5, after pleading guilty to charges filed by Butler city police in November 2022. The sentence includes 24 months of probation after his release from prison.
According to Megan’s Law records, Lane was ordered to register with state police for the rest of his life after he was convicted of rape in 1985.
