Eva Warsing Stickel
Eva Warsing Stickel, 84, of Ellwood City, formerly of Worth Township, died Sunday at Mary Evans Extended Care Center at Ellwood City Hospital.
Born June 20, 1921, in Slippery Rock, she was a daughter of William and Ellen Davis Warsing.
A graduate of Slippery Rock High School, she had been a clerical secretary for US Steel (National Tube) in Ellwood City and later Mathews Conveyor, also in Ellwood City.
Mrs. Stickel was a member of the Lillyville Church of God in Ellwood City.
She enjoyed needlework, baking and reading.
Surviving are two sons, Donald E. Stickel and Richard A. Stickel, both at home.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Shields, whom she married Dec. 25, 1942, and who died April 18, 1943; her husband Earl "Dud" Stickel Jr., whom she married May 13, 1950, and who died March 7, 1989; three brothers, and three sisters.
STICKEL — Friends of Eva Warsing Stickel, who died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at TURNER FUNERAL HOMES, Ellwood City.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
