Jewart, Jr.

Larry R. Jewart Jr., 31, of Butler died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home.

Born May 4, 1980, in Butler, he was a son of Larry R. Jewart Sr. and Joan M. Logan.

He worked for the Bulldog Garage in Valencia for the past four years and on weekend nights was a bouncer for Lee’s Place on Herman Road.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends, going camping and listening to music as he had done some DJ jobs.

He was a wonderful man with a big heart and will be deeply missed by his family and many friends who knew him as “Six Pack.”

Surviving are his father, Larry R. Jewart Sr. of East Brady; his mother, Joan M. Logan of Butler; his grandparents, Donald and Donna Jewart of Chicora; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; and Amos, his boxer.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dick and Betty Logan.

JEWART — Friends of Larry R. Jewart Jr., who died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, will be received at

Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation Services provided by Geibel Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to his family c/o Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
