Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

State Police, Beaver

Nov. 13 — Andrew J. Walters, 32, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony child endangerment and misdemeanor simple assault related to a Nov. 12 incident on Church Road in West Liberty. Police said Walters hit the mother of his child while she was holding the child, then removed the child from her arms and continued hitting the woman.

Nov. 13 — Joshua Hepler, 20, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to an Oct. 26 traffic stop at the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Hepler was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.117%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Nov. 13 — Samantha R. Eppinger, 27, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a May 24 report of a woman passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle on Heinz Road in Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Eppinger was impaired, and a later blood test showed fentanyl, xylazine, methadone, cocaine and marijuana in her system.

Nov. 13 — Renate Clendaniel, 65, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a July 18 two-vehicle crash on Chicora Road in Oakland Township. Police said Clendaniel suffered serious injury and was unable to perform field sobriety tests. She was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital. Police said a later blood test showed fentanyl, ketamine and marijuana in Clendaniel’s system.

Nov. 13 — Michael L. Fake, 56, of Fenelton, was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of theft and prowling related to a Nov. 6 theft from the Hope Center Ministry recovery program. Police said Fake stole camping equipment, and troopers later found him with the items.

Nov. 13 — Edward R. Kuhl III, 19, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor leaving a vehicle crash scene related to a reported hit-and-run Oct. 13 on Cherry Valley Road in Clinton Township. Police said Kuhl got out of his vehicle and told the other driver he needed to go tell his father about the crash, then never returned. Police said they tried to speak with Kuhl later, but he did not respond.

Nov. 10 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Police said Georgii Kulumbekov of Wheeling, Ill., was cited for speeding after he rear-ended another vehicle that jarred it into a third vehicle. Police said John T. Cina, 63, of Poland, Ohio, and his passenger Paulett J. Bingham, 59, of Cranberry Township, suffered suspected minor injuries but did not need transported.

Nov. 12 — Joseph W. Moser, 61, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a March 3 motorcycle crash in Jefferson Township. Police said upon arriving at the scene they found an injured Moser lying on the ground 30 feet from his motorcycle. Police said a later blood test showed Moser had cocaine in his system as well as a blood-alcohol content of 0.118%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.

Nov. 12 — Jonathan W. Doctor, 31, of Fenelton, was charged with misdemeanor DUI related to a Sept. 16 motorcycle crash on Saint Joe Road in Oakland Township. Police said Doctor showed impairment in limited field sobriety tests while he was in an ambulance. Police said a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.115%. In Pennsylvania, 0.08% is the legal limit.
