Vicky L. Best, 68, of Harrisville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, at Orchard Manor with her loving family at her side.

Vicky was born Sept. 14, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Irwin “Gene” and Lois Shoup Best.

Vicky graduated from Slippery Rock High School. She had worked for Quality Life Services as a nurse’s aide.

Vicky was a devoted Christian and loved to read her Bible. She was a member of Grove City Baptist Church in Grove City. Vicky loved to be with her family and looked forward to get-togethers. She enjoyed her walks around town in the evening. She was an animal lover, especially her cats.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her sister, Vera Allen and her husband, Earl, of Slippery Rock; her nephew, Jason Allen and his wife, Nicole, of Slippery Rock; and her great-nephews, Ezra and Eran Allen of Slippery Rock. Her Aunt Valjean Shook of Florida also survives.

Vicky was preceded in death by her dad, Gene, who passed away March 27, 2018, and her mom, who passed away Sept. 4, 2010.

BEST — Funeral services for Vicky L. Best, who died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, were private, and burial took place at Harmony Cemetery in Harrisville.

Arrangements were under the direction of JAMISON-MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.
