Patricia J. Brody, 87, of East Butler, passed away at Concordia at the Orchard Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024. She had been under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice since August.
Born in Donegal Township, Aug. 6, 1937, Pat was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Mary M. (Vanderlin) lman.
She grew up on Medical Center Road in Chicora and was a 1955 graduate of Karns City High School. After graduation, Pat worked at the former Troutman's Department Store and then Magnetics in East Butler.

She enjoyed crocheting beautiful afghans and baking cookies. Faith and family were important to her. She will be remembered as a humble, prayerful woman. She was a member of All Saints Parish in Butler. In her later years, Pat enjoyed praying, going for car rides, working on jigsaw puzzles, looking at family photos and eating her favorite candy — peanut butter meltaways.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Patricia Michele Brody of East Butler who took care of her, and Linda (Dr. Francesco) Turco of Kittanning; grandsons, Dr. Nathan Turco of Greensburg, Dr. Neil (Rachael) Turco of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Nicholas (Kyra) Turco of Cary, N.C., and Nolan Turco of Monroeville; great-grandchildren, Alexander Malloy and Elsie, Henry, Evelyn and Baby Turco due March 2025.
