Rape

Delores J. “Suzie” Rape, 91, of Zelienople, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born June 21, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Columbia (Zirkle) Malloy.

Suzie was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church. In her free time, she liked garage sales, watching football and baseball, her flower beds and being with her children. She loved animals, and had dogs her whole life, as well as her beloved horse, Miss Sunday. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Don Rape, Susan Franz (Bob) and Cathy Rape; her grandchildren, Jennifer Rape, Bill and Jenna Rape, Lindsay and Jason Kratochvil, Steve and Steph Franz, Sean and Alice Franz, Isaac and Sara; as well as 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Suzie was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Raelene Rader Rape; her seven siblings; and her granddaughter, Rain.

RAPE — Friends of Delores J. “Suzie” Rape, who died Monday, Dec. 16, 2024, will be received for visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at St. Peter’s Reformed Church, 320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Suzie will be laid to rest at Zelienople Community Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Suzie’s honor to the Harmony Museum, harmonymuseum.org/donate, and the Butler County Humane Society, butlercountyhs.org.
