Susan Hardin

Hardin

Susan L. (Daw) Hardin passed into glory on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, after a long battle with dementia.

Susan had a career at St. Barnabas, The Arbors, where she was fierce about making sure the residents had a church service. She made many friends and companionships there. Susan also was a faithful parishioner at Lifepoint Alliance Church in Mars and loved her church family. She was very passionate about ministry.

Above all, Susan cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren (except when she over-sugared them). They’d often visit Burger King, Dairy Queen and a dollar store all in one fell swoop.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Hoffman (John) of Wexford; and her son, Thomas Hardin Jr. of New Alexandria, Pa.; her grandchildren, John Michael Jr., Ethan, Lindsey, Avery, Kylie and Macey Hoffman; and her two brothers, Richard Daw (Leslyn) of Monroeville and Donald Daw of North Versailles. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, and their children, who brought her so much joy.

In addition to her parents, Walter and Patricia (Buck) Daw, she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Daw.

HARDIN — Friends and family of Susan L. (Daw) Hardin, who died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
