Rosemarie ‘Sandy’ Kuminkoski

Rosemarie S. “Sandy” (Warhola) Kuminkoski, 80, of Butler, formerly of Quincy, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 18, 1944, in Providence, R.I., to the late Steven Warhola and the late Rose (Kuzio) Warhola.

Sandy graduated from Butler High School, and went on to be regional sales manager for Christmas Around the World. She loved shopping, especially from QVC, and had a large purse collection. Sandy enjoyed her time in Florida, where she would go to the casino and travel. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, and family vacations to Panama City Beach, Orlando and Disney World were most memorable.

She is survived by her husband, Herman S. Kuminkoski, whom she married May 24, 1996; children, Rhonda Wabe, Dionne (John) DeMarines, Danielle (Nathan) Myers, Rich (Lara) Kuminkoski, Christine (John) Brunette and Nicole Winkler; grandchildren, Mikayla Wabe, Jonathan Kurtz, Nathan Kurtz, Collin Myers, Emily Myers, Chloe Kuminkoski, Kyle Kuminkoski, Bella Kuminkoski, Bailey Lewis, Jared Brunette, Rylee Brunette, Casey Watterson, Hannah Rausch and Albert Pennachio; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Warhola of Westminster, Colo.; and two nieces, Candice and Christy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Hamder; a son, Jason Hamder; a sister, Theresa Warhola; an infant brother, Steven; and a granddaughter, Marissa Wabe.

KUMINKOSKI — A visitation for Rosemarie S. “Sandy” (Warhola) Kuminkoski, who died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the funeral home with Pastor Alex DeRosa, from New Life Christian Ministries, officiating.

An entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
