Samuel Herbert Frampton, 84, of Quality Life Services — Grove City, formerly of Harrisville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024.

Samuel was born Jan. 17, 1940, in Harrisville. He was the son of the late Vinter V. and Harriet (Stillwagon) Frampton.

Samuel graduated from Harrisville High School in 1954. Samuel worked for many years as a caretaker for Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville. Samuel took great pride is his work. He devoted many hours to the upkeep of the cemetery.

Samuel enlisted in the U.S. Navy on June 20, 1957. He was honorably discharged June 19, 1963.

He enjoyed hunting in his younger years. He loved the outdoors and cutting wood.

Samuel is survived by his children, Melissa and (William) Furl of Queenstown, Mark and (Jan) Frampton of Shreve, Ohio, and Christine Stimac of East Brady; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Jerry Frampton of Harrisville and Scott Frampton and his wife, Mary, of Grove City; and his sister-in-law, Linda Frampton, who extended years of kindness to Samuel — she was a faithful visitor every week. He also is survived by his sisters-in-law, Louise Frampton and Karen Frampton; along with many nieces and nephews.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers; three half brothers; and four sisters.

FRAMPTON — Family of Samuel Herbert Frampton, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with funeral services to take place at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 27, at JAMISON MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.
