Self defense topic of women’s club meeting Jan. 6
The Intermediate League of Butler will meet on Monday, Jan. 6, at Christ Community Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler Township.
The executive board will meet prior to the general meeting at 6 p.m. All members will gather at 6:30 for social time, with the meeting itself set to begin at 7 p.m.
The program, “Verbal Self Defense,” will be presented by Jackie Umans, who will teach members how to use their voices as a first line of defense in dangerous situations.
