Laura Irene Oesterling Miller
Laura Irene Oesterling Miller, 64, of Butler passed away peacefully Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Hospital in Beaver after a long series of health issues.
She was born Feb. 18, 1953, in Butler, the daughter of the late Keith Oesterling and Edith Protzman Oesterling of Butler and Port Richey, Fla.
Laura was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot, where she sang in the choir. She loved art, coloring, painting and collecting dolls. Laura had a love of children. She was able to teach for a few years and volunteer at Butler Hospital, as well as at churches and schools for many more.
Surviving along with her mother is her husband, Walter J. Miller of Butler; two sisters, Linda (Greg) Hess of Valencia and Nancy (John) Atwell of Butler; one brother, Bruce (Cheryl) Oesterling of Economy, Ind.; two brothers-in-law, Edward (Colleen) Miller of Evans City and Paul (Kathy) Miller of Pittsburgh; two sisters-in-law, Connie (Ed) McAuley of Valencia and Lynne (Bob) Pritts of CoCo, Fla.; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
MILLER — Friends of Laura Irene Oesterling Miller, who died Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev.
