Elizabeth M. Sedoris
Elizabeth M. Sedoris, 94, of Zelienople, formerly of Butler, passed away Monday at Passavant Retirement Community.
Born April 4, 1924, in Chicora, she was a daughter of the late Vincent P. and Sarah Viola Norris Ritzert.
She was a 1945 graduate of the Butler School of Nursing as a registered nurse.
She was a private duty nurse in the Butler area, as well as a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople and a former member of the Christian Mothers of St. Fidelis in Butler. She was also a member of the Butler School of Nursing Alumni.
She enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Lou, Diane and Deborah; a son, Richard; a brother, Vincent T. Ritzert; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard I. Sedoris, whom she married June 12, 1945, and who passed away July 3, 2005. Also preceding were two brothers and three sisters.

Sedoris, who died Monday, April 9, 2018.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday from St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople. The Rev.
