Bernadine L. Josephs
Bernadine L. Josephs, 93, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg.
Born Sept. 13, 1923, in Jones-town, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Albert I. and Pauline Miller Ruhl.
Bernadine was a beautician who had her own business at her home. She was a retail clerk at John Wanamaker Department Store for 10 years, provided child care for Hotel Hershey and Hershey Motor Lodge for 15 years, participated with AARP Chorus in Lower Paxton, enjoyed landscaping and gardening around her home, was an excellent cook and homemaker, and cherished many friendships she developed through her work and social activities. Her front porch was a popular gathering spot in her neighborhood for all her neighbors.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John L. Josephs; her brothers, Mark Ruhl and Albert L. Ruhl; and her sister, Carolyn Shay.
She is survived by her sons, Steven R. Josephs of Mechanicsburg and John R. Margarita Josephs of Vienna, Va.

JOSEPHS — A visitation for Bernadine L. Josephs, who died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday with her funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
