Dorothy Elizabeth Josephs Bankert Deller

Dorothy Elizabeth Josephs Bankert Deller passed away Tuesday.

She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and then became a longtime resident of Zelienople.

Dorothy was an executive secretary for the president of Dravo-Doyle. She was an active member of the Park Presbyterian Church. Dorothy was a founding member of the Comtra Theater in Cranberry Township.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Rose Josephs; her brother, Herbert Josephs; her first husband, James D. Bankert, who died in 1982; and her second husband, John C. Deller, who died in 2002.

She is survived by her children, David Paul Bankert of Raleigh, N.C., Robert Wayne Bankert of Green Bay, Wis., and Rebecca Lynn Bankert of St. Joseph, Mo.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Elaine Bankert Clemente of Port Charlotte, Fla., Brittney Bankert and Ian Bankert, both of Pittsburgh; and her nephew, Robert Paul Josephs of Pittsburgh.

DELLER — The family of Dorothy Elizabeth Josephs Bankert Deller, who died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, will welcome friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
