Dorcy

Mary C. Leone Dorcy, 81, formerly of Tidball Avenue in Grove City, Euclid, Ohio, and Butler, died at 7:02 a.m. Thursday at Orchard Manor in Pine Township, Mercer County, after an extended illness. She was a resident of Orchard Manor since June 2005.

Born in Boyers, Dec. 26, 1927, she was the daughter of Ralph Leone and Edith Vitale Leone.

She married Patrick F. Dorcy Aug. 22, 1953; and he died Aug. 15, 1993.

She retired in 1989 as an officer from National City Bank of Cleveland, where she was employed for more than 40 years.

She was affiliated with the Church of the Beloved Disciple, Grove City.

She was a graduate of Grove City High School, Class of 1945.

She enjoyed her life in banking, her life with her husband, Patrick, and her nieces and nephews.

Surviving are two sisters, Dora Bonetti and her husband, Furry, of Slippery Rock, and Kate Trevelline of Ellwood City; three brothers, Ben Leone and his wife, Virginia, of Boyers, James Leone and his wife, Clara, of Slippery Rock and Edward Leone and his wife, Paula, of Boyers; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Emma.

<B>DORCY</B> Visitation for Mary C. Leone Dorcy, who died Thursday, April 9, 2009, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of The Beloved Disciple, Grove City, with Rev. Father Mark Hoffman as celebrant. Burial will be at Epiphany Cemetery, Boyers.
