Teen jailed on robberycharges
A Brady Township teenager remains jailed on charges she robbed a Butler woman of prescription drugs Saturday evening.
Heather Cieloszyk, 19, of 732 Buttercup Lane faces charges of robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
Butler police said Cieloszyk was at a Virginia Avenue home about 6 p.m. when she asked the homeowner, whom authorities did not identify, for aspirin.
When the homeowner returned with a box of medication, Cieloszyk alleged snatched a bottle of Vicodin, a prescription painkiller, and scuffled with the victim before leaving the house. No injuries were reported.
The homeowner reported the crime and about an hour later police caught Cieloszyk walking on Virginia Avenue.
She was arraigned on charges and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000.
