Archie Thomas Schreffler, 54, of Virginia Avenue died Jan. 22 at his home.

Born Dec. 2, 1949, in Butler, he was the son of Archie T. Schreffler Sr. and Martha Annetta Hepler.

Mr. Schreffler served in the Army from 1969 to 1971. He worked as a laborer in the Butler area.

He was a Protestant.

Surviving are a sister, Shirley Ann Hepler Rice of Grove City; a brother, Larry Frank Hepler of New Castle; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
