Earl L. Cuffman Jr., 74, of Butler died at 3:16 p.m. Friday at Outlook Pointe, Allison Park.

He was born Aug. 12, 1933, in Butler, the son of Earl and Julia Doctor Cuffman.

He was on the WPIAL Championship football team at Butler High School in 1951.

Mr. Cuffman was a veteran of the Army, serving in the Korean War.

He retired from the maintenance department at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He is survived by two sons, Randy Cuffman of McAllen, Texas, and Curtis Cuffman of Hamilton, N.J., and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
