Caulkins

Rose Ann Caulkins, 84, of Toms River, N.J., passed on Monday at the Community Medical Center in Toms River.

Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she moved to Toms River in 1956.

Mrs. Caulkins was an executive assistant for the post commander of the Lakehurst (N.J.) Naval Air Station for more than 30 years. She also was an administrative secretary at the Ocean County Courthouse, and she ended her career as an information and referral specialist for Family Services at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station.

She was a member of the Silverton (N.J.) Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband, John, who passed in 1988.

She is survived by her son, Stephen, of Toms River; her sister, Marie Lukas of Butler; and many nieces and nephews.

<B>CAULKINS</B> — Visiting for Rose Ann Caulkins, who died Monday, April 12, 2010, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Silverton Memorial Funeral Home</B>, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home; arrive 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
