Jackson Township police said they were able to locate a missing teenager on Thursday, Jan. 9.

Police said a 15-year-old male from Jackson Township was located at a residence in Braddock, Allegheny County, after leaving his father’s residence in the early hours of Jan. 8 and securing transportation to the Pittsburgh area.

State police and Allegheny County Juvenile Probation assisted the Jackson Township police in finding the 15-year-old boy.

The teen was turned over to the custody of Allegheny County Juvenile Probation after being located.
