William C. Berthold, 88, of Fellowship Manor, Grove City, formerly of Portersville, died at 4:50 p.m. Friday at Orchard Manor, Grove City.

Born July 21, 1916, in Oakdale, he was the son of William Henery

and Minnerva Seabright Berthold.

He was retired from the Pryor Oil Co. in Portersville.

He was survived by three daughters, Donna Kolhmeyer of Ellwood City, Margaret McNeish of Mesa, Ariz., and Kathy Berthold of Portersville; two sisters, Dorothy Toward of Shelby, Ohio, and Betty Baker of Oakdale; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Koeing; who died Dec. 2, 1983; a daughter; an infant daughter; a brother, and a great-grandson.

BERTHOLD - Friends of William C. Berthold, who died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at JOSEPH A. TOMON, JR FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport. Services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service and interment will be in Portersville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
