Joanne Leitholf
Joanne Marie Leitholf, 89, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born May 29, 1935, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Marcella Marr Hanlon.
She was employed by the United States Postal Inspection Service. She was Catholic by faith and enjoyed spending her time with her family. She was known for her huge heart and the gift of giving to others.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Victoria Nutter of Waverly, W.Va., Kathleen Morris (Bill) of Washington, N.C., Christopher Paul of Parkersburg, W.Va., Cynthia Whytsell (Harold) of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Barbara Strobel (Jack) of New Castle; four sisters, twin sister Jeanne Barto of Baden, Pa., and Doris Kenny (Bernard) of Hershey, Carole Mussig (Julian) and Ruth Hanlon, all of Zelienople; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; adopted grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Josie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Leitholf; and a son-in-law, Lee Nutter.
LEITHOLF — A private service for Joanne Marie Leitholf, who died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
