Butler County Community College is offering free personal Empowerment Training this semester for the Butler County recovery community.

BC3 said in a news release the training is designed for individuals recovering from addiction, mental health challenges or trauma, as well as those who support them.

Training sessions are planned at the Mental Health Association building, 140 Elm St. Sessions will be from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays from Feb. 18 to April 8.

Incorporating personal empowerment training into the recovery process helps individuals gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and build stronger support systems,” the college said in a news release.
