Seneca Valley awarded $7,500 grant for agriculture program
The Seneca Valley School District is the recipient of a $7,500 grant from Pennsylvania’s Ag & Youth Grant Program, which will support the living laboratory and school garden at Haine Middle School. State Sen. Elder Vogel, R-47th, announced the grant Friday, Jan. 17.
The Ag & Youth Grant Program provides a maximum of $7,500 in direct funding and $25,000 in matching grants, to support projects by youth-run agricultural-focused organizations, including school districts.
