Diane Marburger, Butler County treasurer, reminds residents in Butler, Callery, Valencia and West Sunbury that the final day for them to pay 2016 county real estate taxes at a discount is Saturday.

Any tax payments received in person on Friday or postmarked April 30 will be honored at the discount tax amount.

These residents may pay county real estate tax payments in person at the treasurer's office in the Government Center, 124 W. Diamond St. Payments may be made online by visiting the county website at www.co.butler.pa.us and clicking on the “pay taxes” link.

Mailed tax payments must be postmarked no later than April 30 and mailed to: Butler County Treasurer, P.O. Box 1208, Butler, PA 16003.

Real estate taxes received after April 30 at the discount rate will be returned to the sender.

City residents also can send their payments to: City Treasurer, 140 W. North St., Butler, Pa., 16001.
