Shirley Marburger, 67, of Evans City went home to be with the Lord Tuesday.

Born March 14, 1943, in Lawren-ceville, she was the daughter of Harry and Clara (Ritter) Leonhard.

Mrs. Marburger was a very active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City, where she belonged to the fellowship group and helped at the community dinners.

She enjoyed baking and knitting and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mars Chapter.

Mrs. Marburger worked in food service at Seneca Valley High School.

She is survived by her three children, Ronald E. and Pam Marburger Jr. of East Brady, Yvonne and Stephane Veit of Paris, France, and Amber and Chad Wilson of Bel Air, Md.; a brother, Richard and Janet Leonhard of Petrolia; and a sister, Esther Ramsden of Gibsonia. She also is survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eugene Marburger who died Nov. 20, 2000.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many neighbors and friends who supported their mother throughout her illness.

<B>MARBURGER </B>— Friends of Shirley Marburger, who died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chronic Disease Fund, 6900 N.
