Aaron Ordy was 8-for-8 with three doubles and a triple as Meridian split a doubleheader with Butler Township in Mid-County Colt action Saturday.
In Meridian's 12-3 triumph in the first game, Ordy had two singles, a double and a triple, Jordan Foley three singles and Ryan Kradel two singles.
Nate Seesox, who also had a single and triple, got the win, striking out 12 in the process.
Kit Barcus had a double and a single in the first game for Butler Township.
In the second game, a 16-6 win by Butler Township, Rob Cochran had three singles and a double, Darren Blakley two singles and Paul Glass a single and a double for Butler Township.
Ordy had two doubles and two singles, Foley three singles and Seesox two singles for Meridian in the second game.
Aaron Shaw, Derek Clark and Austin Leffler each hit home runs to pace Harry Davis.Justin Demec had a single and a double and Aaron Davis also doubled for Huegel Motors.
