Margaret H. Washburn

Margaret H. Washburn, 80, of Marwood Road died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday in the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born June 14, 1929, in Coraopolis, she was the daughter of Oscar Haugh and Sarah Murray Haugh.

Mrs. Washburn was a member of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church.

A homemaker, Mrs. Washburn enjoyed gardening and choir, and she was a member of the Presbyterian Women.

Mrs. Washburn is survived by one son, Jeff Washburn and his wife, Kate, of Saxonburg; one daughter, Carol Washburn of Verona; five grandchildren, Kathryn Washburn of Columbia, S.C., Jill Snyder of Kansas City, Mo., Anna Snyder of Morgantown, W.Va., and Gretchen Snyder of Verona, and step-grandson, Nicholas Romeo of Saxonburg; and one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Harper of Columbia, S.C.

Mrs. Washburn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Washburn, who she married April 23, 1953, and who passed away Sept. 13, 2009; and one sister, Phyllis Bradley.

<B>WASHBURN</B> — There will be a memorial service for Margaret H. Washburn, who died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Merry H. Meloy officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E.
