Mendicino

Carol Jean (Robinson) Mendicino, 76, of Elizabeth, Pa., passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at Quality Life Services — Chicora.

Born April 28, 1948, in McKeesport, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Roberta (Cross) Robinson. She retired after working for 18 years at Peoples Natural Gas Company. A lifelong animal lover, Carol was also an avid traveler and enjoyed collecting Wizard of Oz memorabilia.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Christina (Lee) Oniboni of Butler; and five grandchildren, Ardan, Xavier, Darius, Gianna and Gabrielle Oniboni. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Stentz of Alabama and Nancy Berkheiser of Utah.

MENDICINO — Family and friends of Carol Jean (Robinson) Mendicino, who died Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Corbett officiating.

Committal services will be held at the Office Chapel of Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to J and J Farms Animal Sanctuary, Inc. in Saxonburg.
