Members of the Butler Lions Club gave child residents of the Lutheran Children’s Home in Zelienople rides on snowmobiles on a snowy day Jan. 31, 1970.

The members of the club used snowmobiles, snow-tow vehicles and all-terrain vehicles to give children rides. Some children rode in the mobiles themselves, while others were tugged along in the vehicles’ trailer cars, attached behind the vehicles to glide across the surface of the snow.
