Shelly Jackson

Shelly Jackson

Shelly Jackson, 52, was born Oct. 25, 1965, to her loving parents, Charles and Nancy Urban of Evans City.

Shelly passed away Wednesday at home, surrounded by her family and loved ones after a three-year battle with cancer.

She was the oldest of five siblings, Chuck, Jennifer, Tammy and Brenda.

Mike was her loving husband of 33 years and her best friend. Through their marriage, she was blessed to gain four brothers, Chuck, Tom, John and Luke; and two sisters, Jackie and Eva.

Together they raised their five children, Michael (Hope), Alicia (Bob) Simmons, Shane (Jessica), Codi (Karen) and Cole (Rochelle).

Shelly was a devoted Nana to her nine grandchildren, Mikie, Hailey, Bailey, Jacob, Cole, Lily, Joseph, Jeffrey and Bentley. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and to the many others who have known and loved her as “Aunt Shell.”
