Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

State Police, Butler

5:23 p.m. Jan. 6 — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Saxonburg Boulevard and Brewer Road in Clinton Township. Police said Angela L. Fazio, 30, of Pittsburgh, lost control of her vehicle and struck vehicles driven by Michele Graham, 52, of Cabot, and Dawna Toth, 61, of Sarver. Graham was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries. Fazio was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.

Jan. 8 — Brian A. Stright, 58, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance related to a Dec. 13 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Stright showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests and tested positive for controlled substances.

Jan. 8 — Haley Marie Watkins, 25, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia regarding a Dec. 31 traffic stop in Summit Township. Police said they found a glass smoking pipe and suspected controlled substances when searching the vehicle.

Jan. 8 — Edge Wyatt Kerry, 31, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one felony count of DUI regarding a Dec. 31 traffic stop in Summit Township. Police said Kerry showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests, and refused testing. Police said Kerry had an active warrant through the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and a DUI-related suspended license.

Jan. 8 — Eric Alan Drake, 35, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol regarding an Oct. 14 traffic stop in Worth Township. Police said Drake showed multiple signs of impairment during field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of 0.184%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Jan. 8 — Lukas David Hooks, 22, of Sarver, was charged with one misdemeanor count of DUI regarding a Nov. 16 incident in Forward Township. Police said Hooks showed signs of impairment, and they found a half-empty vodka bottle in his backpack. Police said Hooks refused testing.

Adams Twp

Jan. 8 — Finn Antonie Roetter, 18, of Gibsonia, was charged with three misdemeanor counts each of DUI and reckless endangerment regarding a Nov. 1 incident. Police said Roetter showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests with a minor in the vehicle. Police said Roetter almost ran over two officers and had a blood alcohol content of 0.137%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Jan. 9 — Kelsey Elizabeth Rovnan, 35, of Mars, was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia regarding a Dec. 8 incident. Police said they found controlled substances, empty blue glassine bags and a glass smoking pipe on her person.

Jan. 9 — Steven M. Rothermel Jr., 29, of McKees Rocks, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of identity theft and accessing a device without permission regarding a Jan. 3 incident. Police said Rothermel used a coworker’s debit card to pay $206.75 in court fines.

Cranberry Twp

Jan. 8 — Raymond William Priester, 56, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Police said Priester stole from Home Depot and Lowe’s in the area multiple times in the previous weeks, including $604.93 worth of merchandise Dec. 11 from Lowe’s.
