The last day for city of Butler property owners to pay their 2006 school property taxes and per capita tax at the discount is Sept. 30.The city treasurer will accept postmarks of Sept. 30 or payments can be left at the drop slot at the front of the City Building before 8:30 a.m. Oct. 2 when the treasurer's office opens. After that, taxes are due at face value.
