Butler County Community College is offering free personal empowerment training, aimed at people undergoing recovery.

A Jan. 30 news release from BC3 said this free training is open to those in recovery and for those who support individuals in recovery. The training can be particularly beneficial for individuals in recovery from addiction, mental health issues or trauma.

The trainings take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays from Feb. 18 to April 8 at the college’s Mental Health Association, 140 North Elm St. in Butler. Register by Feb. 14 online at BC3.edu/empowerment, or by emailing Tricia Pritchard at tricia.pritchard@bc3.edu.
