Frederick J. Graff, 83, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025.

Fred was born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 12, 1941, to the late Fredrick and Anna (Dura) Graff.

He was employed at Servistar (American Hardware) for 40 years, retiring as advertising manager.

He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard in Cape May, N.J. He was previously the Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Butler.

In his retirement, Fred enjoyed traveling, seeing the world and experiencing different customs. He liked to play golf and work around the yard. He especially liked trout fishing with his buddy, Dale Ruth.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra (Langston) Graff; and two sons, Brian F. Graff, C.P., and Chad E. (Melissa) Graff, all of Butler.

GRAFF — A memorial service for Frederick J. Graff, who died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave., Butler, with the Rev. John C. R. Silbert officiating.

A private burial will take place at Greenlawn Burial Estates.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frederick’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, donate.cancer.org.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
