Irene J. McLaughlin
Irene J. McLaughlin, 83, of Butler died Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born June 11, 1934, in Nanty Glo, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Stephen Popp and Anna Kertes Popp.
Irene had worked at Nationwide Insurance, was part owner of the Majestic Bar in Butler and lastly had worked at the Butler Farm Market.
She enjoyed playing bingo, doll collecting and taking care of people.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Surviving are her daughter, Alice Ann (Larry) Boyle of Sarver; and one granddaughter, Jamie Boyle of Sarver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. McLaughlin, who died Oct. 30, 2012; and her three brothers and six sisters.
McLAUGHLIN — Family and friends of Irene J. McLaughlin, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, will gather from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Services will follow at noon Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev.
