Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Jan. 17 — James Daniel Morin, 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Jan. 17 traffic stop. Police said Morin showed signs of impairment, but no chemical sample was taken.

Butler Twp

Jan. 15 — Austin David Arnold, 24, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor theft by deception in relation to a Dec. 6 incident. Police said Arnold left a $133.58 unpaid bill at Rock Ann Haven. Police said restaurant staff reached out to Arnold to pay the tab on about six different days.

Buffalo Twp

Jan. 14 — William Bowser, 52, of Sarver, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Dec. 22 crash. Police said they obtained a search warrant Jan. 7 for Bowser’s blood alcohol content from Allegheny General Hospital, which showed a BAC of 0.273%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Cranberry Twp

Jan. 9 — Alphonso Jeron Noggins, 33, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest and disorderly conduct following a Jan. 8 incident. Police said Noggins refused to place his hands behind his back and attempted to get up off the ground while being handcuffed.

Middlesex Twp

Jan. 14 — Michael Rand Spencer Jr., 23, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance following a Jan. 9 traffic stop. Police said they smelled a strong marijuana odor, and Spencer gave them the marijuana when asked.

Slippery Rock

Jan. 13 — Molly Jean Hennessy, 33, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI following a Jan. 13 traffic stop. Police said Hennessy showed signs of impairment before and during field sobriety testing. Police said her blood alcohol content was 0.261%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Jan. 13 — Scott Paul Boyer, 68, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI following a Nov. 19 incident. Police said Boyer had a blood alcohol content of 0.151%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
