RockHouse BarGrill to reopen
The RockHouse BarGrill, 2560 William Flynn Highway in Clay Township announced it will reopen at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11.
According to co-owner Rick Regalski, the restaurant has been closed since November 2023, because of some complications in renewing its business license due to employees and customers not wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They were ready to close us for good,” Regalski said. “We got a new attorney and called Butler County Commissioner Kevin Boozel and they fixed some odds and ends and now we are going to be back open. Whoever (Boozel) talked to helped everything go through.”
When the establishment reopens it will be business as usual, featuring burgers, pizza and fried fish which Regalski said is one of the more popular items on the menu.
“We are going to open our patio and put an outside stage venue in. We haven't changed things in a long time and it's time to keep up with the Joneses.”
Regalski said the public outcry from them closing has been nonstop, and he is excited to get things back to normal.
“Every time we bump into somebody they say we need to reopen,” Regalski said. “I think we are going to be overwhelmed.”
The Rock House BarGrill is open 2 to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to midnight on Friday and noon to midnight on Saturday.
