Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
5:21 p.m. Jan. 21 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 422 in Franklin Township. Police said Jeremiah L. Azzarello, 23, of Pittsburgh, lost control of his Jeep Wrangler traveling west due to snowy conditions and traveled into the oncoming lane. Police said Drew C. Miller, 37, of Butler, hit Azzarello’s vehicle head on with his Chevrolet Express. Police said Miller was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Jan. 22 — Police responded to Mega Truck Stop in Muddy Creek Township for a suspicious person making staff uncomfortable, according to an affidavit. Police said they were unable to identify the defendant and charged him with one misdemeanor count each of trespassing, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, false identification to law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia after he refused to leave the property. Police said he had 10 pills of opioid addiction medications and marijuana residue in a smoking bowl.
Jan. 22 — William Thomas Evanoski, 66, of Butler, was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver following a Jan. 4 traffic stop. Police said they found 56 grams of marijuana in Evanoski’s vehicle.
Jan. 22 — Timothy David Edinger, 52, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor DUI count following a Nov. 8 crash. Police said Edinger had a blood alcohol content of 0.204%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Jan. 22 — Darrion Edward Frisby, 30, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Jan. 20 traffic stop. Police said Frisby attempted to bring a Ziploc bag of marijuana and a corner baggie of crack cocaine into Butler County Prison.
Jan. 22 — Sara M. Pfaff, 43, of Wexford, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage related to a Dec. 21 crash. Police said Pfaff admitted to being involved in the crash and driving away without providing information or rendering aid.
Jan. 22 — Raelynn White, 27, of Ellwood City, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft and receiving stolen property related to a Dec. 26 incident. Police said White stole a total of about $500 from her employer’s cash register over five separate occasions.
Jan. 22 — Travis Craig Dickson, 51, of Mars, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one misdemeanor count of accident involving damage following a Jan. 20 crash. Police said Dickson’s blood alcohol content was 0.181%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Jan. 23 — Alexander Keith Smith, 25, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 23 traffic stop. Police said Smith had a blood alcohol content of 0.196%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
