Horwat, Fitzhenry

Jennifer and John Fitzhenry

Jennifer Horwat and John Fitzhenry were united in marriage Oct. 25 at the Duquesne University Chapel in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Bob Miller officiated. A reception followed at the Grand Concourse in Station Square.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Denise Horwat of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Eileen Fitzhenry of Pittsburgh and the late Jack Fitzhenry.

The honor attendant was Lindsay Horwat of Greenville, S.C. Bridesmaids included Lisa Miller of Miami, Elizabeth Kreinbucher of Butler, Erin Zima, Rachel Martin and Jennifer Fitzhenry, all of Pittsburgh.

Performing the duties of best man was Michael Semplice of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Christian Keesey of Ossining, N.Y.; Rico Abbondanza, Mark Semplice, George Nassif and Eddie Nuovo, all of Pittsburgh.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School. She holds a master's degree in elementary education from Carlow University. She teaches kindergarten at the Campus School of Carlow University in Oakland.

The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Seton LaSalle High School and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Duquesne University. He owns Custom Fitz Siding and Windows in Pittsburgh.

The Fitzhenrys are making their home in Pittsburgh.
