Jeffrey G. Wood
Jeffrey G. “Woodside” Wood, 66, of Parker Township, Parker, passed away late Tuesday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Born Nov. 11, 1955, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Raymond B. and Ruth Fleck Wood.
Jeff was a registered and certified plumber most of his adult life, and owned and operated Woodside Plumbing for over 30 years. He was especially proud of the fact his sons, Fred and Jeff, had chosen to work alongside him for many years.
He was fond of caring and owning longhorn cattle, and enjoyed attending cattle association shows in much of the country.
Surviving are his wife, Frances E. “Fran” Wood; two sons and their wives, Fred and Jamie Wood and Jeff and Amanda Wood of the Parker Township area; his stepson, Grant Brison of Dayton, Pa.; four grandchildren, Samantha, Jeffrey, Isaiah and Walker Wood; one stepgrandchild, Logan Shumway; and his brother, Kevin (Donna) Wood of Chicora.
WOOD — Friends of Jeffrey G. “Woodside” Wood, who died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.
