Lois Marie Joseph
Lois Marie Ringer Joseph, 93, passed away Sunday at Friendship Village of Dublin, Ohio.
Lois was born Dec. 28, 1917, in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Ira A. and Viola R. Ringer.
She also was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Samuel G. Joseph; and a sister, Kathryn Powers.
Lois is survived by her loving daughter, Nancy (John) Kuss of Dublin, Ohio; three step-grandchildren, Necia (Matt) Crlenjak of Tallahassee, Fla., Lisbeth (Tom) McDonald of Mason, Ohio, and John (Sally) Kuss III of Westlake Village, Calif.; 10 step-great grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.
Lois was a longtime member of the Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, Butler.
She received her bachelor's in education from Slippery Rock University and attended graduate school at Pennsylvania State University.
She began her teaching career at Freedom Junior High School in Beaver County. She retired from the Butler School District after teaching in the junior and intermediate high schools.
<B>JOSEPH </B>— Memorial services for Lois Marie Ringer Joseph, who died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., Butler, with Pastor Don Short officiating.
